And the lessons… my goodness, they left me in a tizzy. I don’t know what’s right or wrong; I don’t know who’s the enemy. My head is spinning, and it’s glorious.

Other reviewers seem surprised by the ending, but that was pretty much one of the only things I saw coming. From the cocktail party onwards, I began eagerly anticipating a certain reveal — and we got it in spades at the end.

This book, this book, this BOOK. AHH. Y’all, this had everything on my must-have list. Let’s be real, anything by Emma Mills is literally on my must-have list. Hilarious. Charming. Enchantment. (Did I do it properly? Please tell me that Gideon and Claudia would laugh to that!)

This book was all froth and minimal substance. Think of all your favourite old-school rom-coms and mash them together. That was this book!
